Mary Elizabeth Winstead wanted so badly to be awesome in her fight scenes that she actually hurt herself making Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.That's dedication. And it's epic.
It turns out that swinging her giant hammer around resulted in some painful tendinitis in her shoulder.
This is what she said the Britain's Total Film magazine: "I get to use it like a really cool weapon, kung fu-style. It was just really fun to get to learn that and execute it in a way that looks cool on screen. It feels really rewarding. It was tough, but I definitely felt tough and crazy."
I love it! This girl is cute, a solid actress and now we know that she gave everything she had to make her fight sequences top notch for the movie!
