Mary Elizabeth Winstead wanted so badly to be awesome in her fight scenes that she actually hurt herself making Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

That's dedication. And it's epic.

It turns out that swinging her giant hammer around resulted in some painful tendinitis in her shoulder.

This is what she said the Britain's Total Film magazine: "I get to use it like a really cool weapon, kung fu-style. It was just really fun to get to learn that and execute it in a way that looks cool on screen. It feels really rewarding. It was tough, but I definitely felt tough and crazy."

I love it! This girl is cute, a solid actress and now we know that she gave everything she had to make her fight sequences top notch for the movie!

Watch Dinner For Schmucks - Last Clip Before The Release!

Dinner for Schmucks comes out tomorrow. I know, time flies right. And because the movie comes out so soon, this clip here is probably the last one we'll see.

And it's not a bad clip for them to give us. We get a good look at Steve Carell's character and just how his brain works. And we get a little glimpse at how Paul Rudd plays off of him and how they will interact throughout.

Watch Cats & Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore - Trailer & Poster!

Kitty Galore has gone too far! And that's why we've got a sequel to the 2001 original Cats & Dogs.

In this flick the unthinkable happens and the cats and dogs have to team up to fight to save the day.

The real big deal isn't that they have to save the day for themselves, it's the fact that they have to save the humans too.

The tagline to the movie is a little silly, but silly is to be expected - "Just like real spies... only furrier."

And I believe that the movie is going to be silly and funny for the whole family.

Lottery Ticket is coming soon. And it looks pretty darn funny. The cast has been well put together with Bow Wow starring and being supported by Ice Cube and Mike Epps among many others.

A while ago we posted a trailer here for you all to take a look at. But with the movie coming up soon I decided to pop back in with some photos from the movie. While it does look like a light hearted comedy flick. It could be good. I have a feeling that there will be a lesson or two about doing the right thing and trust thrown in there for us.

That's right, after months and months of waiting we are finally "this" close to seeing an all-star line-up of funny actors team up to bring us Dinner for Schmucks.

hollywood.com was at the New York premiere for the movie and has cut together some clips of the actors and the director speaking about the movie and what it was like working with one another.

Watch The Hangover 2 - Location Picked!

The other day on The Hangover 2 blog I wrote about the location finally being made public for movie.

There had been many rumors about the much anticipated sequel including my own guess of Mexico. But I was wrong. In the end it has been confirmed by director Todd Phillips that The Hangover 2 will be shooting and taking place primarily in Thailand.

I'm almost worried about what kind of trouble those characters can get themselves into in Thailand. But I think that's exactly what the film makers are going for.

Also, in a cool little tidbit, the photo at the top of the post was taken on the floor of Comic Con is San Diego. I wouldn't have even guessed that The Hangover would be represented. But that's the beauty of the thing I guess.

Watch Scott Pilgrim vs. The World - Comic Con Panel Review!

The Scott Pilgrim vs. The World panel went yesterday at Comic Con and by all reports everyone had a great time.

Michael Cera came out to stage wearing a Captain America costume which drew some laughter from the audience. And joining Cera were evil exes Jason Schwartzman and Brandon Routh.

The actors were asked a bunch of questions, but my favorite quotes come from the exes when they were asked to describe their fights with Cera. Routh used the word "devilishly" and Schwartzman topped him with "Comic-Con-ishly"

The best non-evil ex moment goes to Kieran Culkin who told the story of trying to prepare himself for his man on man make-out scene when director Edgar Wright came out of nowhere to plant a "a very wonderful" kiss on his mouth and break the ice.

There was also a special full screening of the movie for fans wearing 1-up buttons. And I am jealous of every one of them.

Watch Scott Pilgrim vs. The World - Brandon Routh Clip!

The folks behind Scott Pilgrim vs. The World are having a field day with Comic Con. The Hilton Bay Front has been dubbed the Hilton Scott Pilgrim thanks to the huge banner on the outside of the building. The remix clips are circulating like mad. And now the funniest clip I have seen so far has hit the interweb.

Brandon Routh is hilarious in this short clip and I hope that when the movie comes out he is just as funny in longer scenes.

Watch You Again -Trailer!

This fall we get a comedy with some of the best actresses ever to come together in the hopes of making you laugh.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Cloris Leachman and Betty White are all part of the cast for You Again!

The movie follows Bell's Marni as she struggles to accept and move past the fact that her brother is getting married to the girl who ruined her high school experience. And when her mother (Jamie Lee Curtis) tries to comfort her and tell her that it happens to everyone she too is put to the test as the bride's aunt (Weaver) put her through hell as well.

There are a lot of physical laughs coming in this movie and we ever get to see some of them in the trailer.

Lottery Ticket - Trailer!

Lottery Ticket releases on August 20, 2010 and there is starting to be some buzz about it.

If you haven't heard of the movie, let me help out.

Kevin (Bow Wow) has hit the jackpot. In his hands he holds the winning ticket to a 370 million dollar windfall. However, the lotto offices are closed for the long weekend and now Kevin must try to keep his winning ticket a secret and keep it safe from a neighborhood full of people willing to do anything to take it from him.

The flick features performances from Ice Cube, Mike Epps and Terry Crews which will help add some comedy to the cast and to the movie. And at the end of the day this movie really does have a chance to make some people laugh.

At this year's MTV Movie Awards director Edgar Wright introduced the first clip from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

I know that you've seen the trailers and TV spots by now, but this clip of a fight between Michael Cera and Chris Evans is a little more extended and has some funny quips included as well.

Dinner for Schmucks is close to release. And a lot of people are getting ready for a lot of laughs. The partnership of Paul Rudd and Steve Carell should be very funny and the supporting cast at the dinner could end up being scene stealers in their own rights.

I'm especially excited for Zach Galifianakis, Jemaine Clement and Jeff Dunham. There are 3 funny guys in supporting roles. Dunham is famous for his work as a comedian and ventriloquist and he finally gets to bring those talents to the big screen in a big way.

The Other Guys - Set Photos!

The Other Guys looks fun. It's as simple as that. The relationship between Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell looks like it has a chance to carry the movie and make it funny along the way.

I also think that the scenes with Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson will be hilarious and could end up being some of the high points in the movie.

Vampires Suck - Trailer!

Vampires Suck is the newest comedy feature aimed at lampooning some of Hollywood's biggest films.

The principle target will of course be the Twilight Saga but there are also shots at Alice in Wonderland, Jersey Shore and even a dig at Lady Gaga.

In the end this movie is designed to do two things.

1. Make fun of the world's biggest tween sensation.

2. Make people laugh.

I think that they have a chance to do both. There's a risk involved with the comedy because this genre has been done a lot in the last 10 years or so. But I do believe that this one could work.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is the retro looking action comedy that could become a favorite in the same way that Zombieland did.

The Movie has a real 80's video game feel to it with the fight scenes and the writing feels witty and well put together from the clips and trailers that I have seen so far.

I also think, that while some people may be growing tired of the same type of character from Michael Cera in each movie he's in, that this is going to be a good role for him.

The Other Guys - Trailer and Poster!

The Other Guys is this summer's action comedy flick that brings us a new buddy cop partnership.

The catch is that the cops aren't really buddies. There's a great dynamic between the two characters as Mark Wahlberg's character Detective Terry Hoitz has a healthy distaste for Will Farrell's paper pushing Detective Allen Gamble.
